Sunday 11th November 2018

Linnwood House Open Day – All British Day

Mini Club  will be attending this day which is an ALL British Day

Gates are open from around 8 – 8:30am and the house is open to the public from 11am till 4pm

Please see our website at for information about the house and the Friends or have a look at our Flickr page to see some of our previous Open Days. We provide a sausage sizzle on the day and there are Devonshire Teas available inside the house, where there is a variety of craft stalls on display as well. Something for everyone! We also try to have a band or musical group performing on the day.

“Linnwood” is a NSW State Heritage Listed house sitting on approx. 5ha of ground at 25 Byron Road, Guildford. The house was built by George McCredie in 1891.

The Friends of Linnwood were formed in 2002 after leading a community fight to save the estate from being sold and subdivided, and continue to lobby the local Council and the NSW State Government to stop this from happening.

We have 4 Open Days per year and invite different car and bike clubs to come along and enjoy a day to show their vehicles. The front lawn at Linnwood can accommodate 100+ vehicles, so space is not a problem. We usually try to have a few different clubs on show on the same day, to give our visitors a variety of vehicles to look at.

All money raised by the Friends on the day goes towards continued restoration and conservation of the house.

Contact Michael Benton 0411019112 if you are planning to attend this day.
