Motorkhana Training Day – Riverstone
A day for those wishing to gain more experience in motorkhanas or to just “have a go” for the first time. Some of the experienced drivers in the club will be on hand to offer tuition. To be held at our club grounds, Bandon Road Riverstone (cross the railway line and follow the road down to the end, please shut the gate). Scrutineering starts at 8:00am, drivers briefing at 9:45am, event starts at 10:00am. Mini Enthusiast Run to Highlands Steam and Vintage Fair Oberon
Two Meeting points, Meet at McDonald’s on the M4 at Eastern Creek departing at 7.30am travelling to Lithgow via Great Western Highway, or alternatively members travelling from north west to meet at the BP servo at Kurmond departing at 7.30am, and then travelling Bells Line of Road, to rendezvous at 9.00am at the Shell servo on the Highway at Lithgow, then travelling the remaining journey to Oberon visiting the Steam and Vintage Fair, and then returning home Saturday Afternoon

Convoy Run to Little Hartley
Meet at the Penrith White Water Stadium, McCarthys Lane (off Castlereagh Rd) at 10am for a 10.30am departure. The convoy will take in the scenic Bells Line of Road finishing at the beautiful Ambermere Rose Inn, Little Hartley. The cafe/restaurant serves a variety of lovely food or feel free to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the park like surrounds. The drive is approximately 100km long, so please fill up with fuel before the start. Route instructions will be handed out on the day for those wishing to make their way to Little Hartley at their own pace. Please contact Julie Witcombe for further information 0419266620.

Narooma Booma Rally
This great event is the jewel on the car club’s competition calendar, and like every year we have lots of competitors and not so many officials. There are two basic jobs for officials, road closures and control officials. There will be experienced people to show the new folk the ropes, so don’t be shy: we need as many helpers as we can get.
