Mini Car Club of NSW
Hi there fellow Mini Owners,
On Sunday the 25th of September the “BMC LEYLAND AUSTRALIA HERITAGE GROUP” will once again be holding its annual reunion Lunch at the Ryde/Eastwood Leagues Club, 117 Ryedale rd West Ryde, the cost to attend the lunch is $37.50 per person payable to the Heritage Group ( I have booking forms if you would like to attend the lunch)
In conjunction with the lunch that starts at 12:30 pm, Roger Foy from the Heritage Group, puts together a car display of British Leyland/BMC cars, on the rooftop car park of the club, commencing at about 10:30 am.
I have attended this lunch and car display in the past with other members of the Mini Car Club of NSW, and have always had an enjoyable lunch and chat with past employees of the BMC/Leyland Company.
As this is the 50th year of the Mini in Australia, and would like to see a good showing of Mini’s, I am seeking other Classic Mini owners to join me in a breakfast car run from McDonalds on Parramatta Rd Stanmore, meeting at around 8:30am for light breakfast and then driving in convoy, leaving at around 9.45am, and travelling to the Ryde Eastwood Leagues club at West Ryde, and participating in the display of cars put on by Roger Foy from 10:30am till about 12:30pm.
At the commencement of the lunch at 12:30pm, members could attend the BMC Heritage lunch, or would be free to do their own thing.
Security for the Cars is provided during the period of the lunch which finishes at about 4:30pm.
